  A story of Katope By Mwl.   Yahaya Mdidima Once upon a time, there was an indigenous woman who lived in near village called Malatu with his only lovely young son named Katope. Malatu was a small village surrounded by lush green forests and tall mountains. The village was known for its beautiful scenery and refreshing rainfall. One day, Katope was playing Far away from their house with group of other children. He noticed that the clouds were getting darker, and the wind was blowing and picking up. He knew that it was going to rain soon. So, he ran back to his house. As he was running back home, the rain started pouring down heavily. He heard his mother calling him tearfully and crying. Song: - Na Katope tila tila nnee x 2 tila maunde x 2 Manyi ngwika ndendeule mbe - nkwika nneee!!! x 2 tila maunde x 2 He tried harder and harder, but he could not run fast because the rain was very heavy. Poor Katope!!, fell and washed away by the running water.

Despite this, Tindo was a determined and hardworking. He had a passion for gardening and spent most of his days tending to his small garden. One day, the village decided to hold a gardening competition. To his surprise, Tindo's garden was the most beautiful and well-cared-for in the entire village. The news of Tindo's victory spread quickly throughout the village, and soon everyone was congratulating him and praising his skills.
